From bittersweet and fragile to powerfully energetic: meet front singer Jake – he is bringing “Take A Seat” to the stage of the Friedenskirche.
Two days before the big day, it’s high time we gave you a few facts about one of our fantastic front singers: Jake. To the stage of the Friedenskirche he brings the song that is especially close to his own heart: “Take A Seat”, the second single from the album BLACK REFLECTION. The track is currently playing on the radio (BigFM, Rockland FM, Radio Salü).
Rock 4.0 from Stuttgart
The background: Jake & the Convolution, the Stuttgart rock band, released their fantastic new album “Black Reflection” in June 2018 – Rock 4.0 and true melodic anthems, paired with driving rhythms and that unmistakable, one-of-a-kind voice of frontman Jake. Jake’s vocal range and repertoire are impressive, spanning everything from bittersweet fragility to powerful energy. It is no coincidence that press and radio are currently comparing his voice to singers like Ryan Tedder (One Republic) or Bruce Dickinson in his prime.
At Home on Big Stages
The band has already shared stages with international greats:
- Roger Hodgson
- Sunrise Avenue
- Rea Garvey
- Silbermond
- Doro Pesch
Most recently, Jake and his band could be experienced live as an insider tip – and crowd-pleaser – on the main stage at the Saarspektakel in front of many thousands of visitors, supporting Doro Pesch, as well as at the Konstanz Seenachtsfest. Jake’s first single “Kings of Tomorrow” and “Take a Seat” racked up several thousand radio plays across Germany.
